Brecciated Jasper Cabochon
Another tentative identification on this nice oval cabochon. I can't find anything in my references, but it does look like some soap in my wife's bathroom (yeah, that's a big help).
$15.00

Fordite Cabochon
Fordite is getting scarcer and more expensive every day, so grab this one while you can! This piece has a different set of colors than other Fordite I've cut. There's black, white, red, yellow, and some cool silver metalflake as well! Sweet!
$60.00

Montana Agate Cabochon
Here's a big Montana Agate oval with very distinctive patterns in a milky matrix. There is a fracture on the back edge on the left side, but I think it's stable and probably will not show once the cab is set.
$35.00

Amethyst Sage Agate Cabochon
Here's a nice projectile cut Amethyst Sage Agate cabochon. Nice coloring and pretty dendrites at the top. Cute!
$8.00

Ocean Jasper Cabochon
Here's a small green & yellow Ocean Jasper teardrop cabochon. It has small yellow orbs inside large green orbs, probably inside huge green orbs, since the main part of the cab is the same color as the orbs.
$6.00

Bloodstone Cabochon
Here's a sweet little Bloodstone cabochon. The bright photo lights make the reds much more prevalent than in normal lighting and highlight every... single... imperfection in the cab's surface. It looks much better in person, but it's still being sold at a bargain price.
$6.00

Malachite Cabochon
I found a small chunk of Malachite in with some slabs, and it turned out to be a very pretty dime-sized cab!
$8.00

Stone Canyon Jasper Cabochon
I gave this a tentative identification of Stone Canyon Jasper but I'm not 100% sure. But it's a pretty material with red chunks floating in an almost clear matrix. Teardrop cut and very pretty!
$15.00

Botswana Agate Cabochon
I tried hard, but I couldn't capture the beauty of this Botswana Agate teardrop in a photograph. Sharp white lines warp around the right side of the cab, resulting in a "look" that changes as the cabochon is rotated. Very nice!
$16.00

Lace Agate Cabochon
If you lay this weenie-shaped Lace Agate cabochon on its side, it looks like a happy crocodile (see second photo)!
$16.00

Lace Agate Cabochon
Lace Agate is one of my favorite rocks, but especially if it's red! This cabochon has solid white lace and several small clear areas. And did I mention it was RED?
$18.00

African Blue Swirlstone
My first attempt at cutting this material. African Blue Swirlstone with nice blue patterns. I may keep this one if you don't grab it right away!
$15.00

Picture Jasper Cabochon
This big Picture Jasper cabochon has subdued patterns with desert colors. An extreme projectile cut makes this one even more special.
$9.00

Mahogany Obsidian Cabochon
This handsome Mahogany Obsidian cabochon has threads of "sheen" buried in the patterns of chocolate-colored swirls. The sheen is very noticeable when you move the cab in the light. Really pretty!
$18.00

Rescue Cabochon
This little chunk of Agate was cast aside, probably because it had a chip in it. I cut it smaller, past the chip, and now it's a happy cabochon because it was RESCUED!
$6.00

Ocean Jasper Cabochon
This Ocean Jasper cabochon is fairly thin for a big cab. It has fuzzy green orbs alongside pale wispy orange waves. There is also a dark area of tiny almost-clear orbs and a hint of drusy just above it. An interesting cabochon!
$20.00

Brookwood Stone Cabochon
This rock was gathered just a few miles from home. It's known locally, along with other river rock, as "Brookwood Stone." In Chilton County, the composition of the gravels is 10% chert and 90% Quartz. This cabochon is mostly red, with a milky cloud with chatoyance and two tiny vugs towards the top.
$8.00

Teal Puddingstone Cabochon
This stone was named by the vendor. I'm not sure what it is, but some of it has little patterns good for small cabochons. Very pretty, with a nice polish; there's a small healed fracture across the bottom that is accented by the bright photo lights. Local pronunciation is "teel PUDDEN-stone..." y'all.
$10.00

Plume Agate Cabochon
This white Plume Agate cabochon is a real beauty! A wild & crazy plume leaps out of the mass of plumes at the bottom of the cab, and tries in vain to escape. But it makes a statement that catches your attention! There is a stable fracture at upper left that is barely visible in the photo but is more noticeable in person.
$28.00

Lace Agate Cabochon
Wow! There's a lot of character in this little oval Lace Agate cabochon! Strong, well-defined lace walks around the edge of the cab and gives a bold look. You'll like this one!
$14.00
